Labor Day

This year we spent Labor Day weekend in town. Normally we go camping, but with Mark going to Las Vegas this weekend and the first Duck game we stayed home. 

We started the weekend at the final Ems game on Friday night.

Ella loves their mascot, Sluggo untill he gets too close! She wouldn't get close enough for a picture.

When Ella was 3 weeks old we took her to her first baseball game, it happened to be the grand opening of PK park. So we thought it was only fair to bring Alivia to her first game also at just 3 weeks old.

The next day, we went tailgating at Uncle Jed's Party

We got to see our friend Alayna!

She started first grade this week! I can't believe how fast time goes!

On Monday, we took Grandpa Andy's jeep for a cruise around the neighborhood

Ella Kate had the wind blowing in her hair

and Alivia Jo slept the whole time!

We ended our Jeep cruise with a dip in the river! We have been having beautiful hot weather, just in time for back to school. My maternity leave started this week. I have to admit it was hard for me to miss the first day of school but I wouldn't trade this time at home with my girls for anything.

Two Weeks Already!

Life with Alivia has been great!

Here is her first bath at home... she wasn't a fan.

She had her first trip to the park at one week old

 She slept almost the entire time

The next morning, Uncle Ben and Aunt Tamisha came to meet Alivia

They are going to have a baby of their own. 

We are pretty excited to meet our new cousin in November!

2 Weeks

I love my chubby, happy baby!

She loves to sleep, eat and be held, What a Life!

 My very best friends came over for brunch on Saturday,

 it was so fun to see everyone!

 Later that night, we walked down to the park to celebrate Lucas' 3rd Birthday!

 I've been trying to get a good picture of these best friends forever!

 They are so lucky to have each other!

Alivia's First Days

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Alivia's first days. She has just a sweet, mellow personality. All she wants to do is eat and sleep! Big sister has a cold and cough, so it's been a bummer trying to keep her away from little sister.
