30+1

Darn it, it happened again. My birthday came and I had to turn another year older. As of right now, I'm 3 years older then my husband... He had to remind me of that this morning.
He has his turn on Saturday!

I got the party started early on Friday with a dinner date with some of my favorite ladies...
Katie and Sara came over to be my chauffeur and we met Maria.
Thanks GGs for a fun little celebration
and the best lobster bisque ever!

On my actual birthday, we went to the new Red Lobster in town.
All I have to say is that I checked that off my list,
I won't be back anytime soon.
We did get seated in the "Captain's Room".
That was great because Ella could run around the table
and not get into too much trouble.
This is all I could do to keep Ella Boo still.

Here are my lovely parents, can you believe their baby is 31??

Dave P and Debra Kay-
Thank you for the beautiful hanging basket!

Miss Sara was the photographer
and I didn't get any pics of her at dinner.

It's going to be hard to top my 30th year
with Mark, Ella and our new house..
but I'm excited to see what 31 brings.

Oh, one other exciting thing....
No longer will you see this
We said goodbye to the beloved Binky.
She only is allowed to use it at naptime and bedtime.
She has done great, especially for a girl who LOVED her Binky!
(Notice how she is hoarding another binky in this photo)
We are so proud of our Boo!

Another Photo Overload..

I've been driving past this little field of daisies at our park  for weeks, thinking that it would make a great photo spot.
Finally, we got a sunny day and walked down to the park.
Here are my favorites. I want to make this daisy
photo shoot a yearly tradition.

Our Week in Photos

Here is a recap of the last week....

Ella sportin' her Duck gear to cheer on the Oregon Spring Game!
You'll never believe this...The ducks Won!

My Favorite Happy People!

We said Adios to our crappy yard! We did a little clean-up last weekend and then put round-up over all the grass and weeds. Can't wait for Mark's beautiful green grass!

I shouldn't say our yard is all bad, we have two lilac trees.
I love lilacs!

I got my hair done this week. WooHoo!

I had a Mommy and Ella day on Friday... We had so much fun just hanging around the house.

We did some serious bird watching...

We are nerds!
Our neighbors must put out some special kind of bird seed.
I have seen more unique birds here then I've ever seen anywhere else.

Of course we had some swing time.

I love the casual arm over the edge of the swing.
She's a swinging pro!

I put this one in to show off her fabulous mullet!
She is really growing the hair...... in the back.
Come on hair on top, GROW!

I put this one in to show off her lovely scowl face.
She can give a look.

Here is my sweet little Ella...kisses for baby.

Saturday morning snuggle with Daddy before
