Finally Summer!

Today is the first day of summer and the last day at work for the next 9 weeks. I'm so glad because the  craziness of last week has finally caught up with me. I went back to school full time, report cards, memory books, saying goodbye to 24 first graders, classroom clean up, doctor appointment, camping and father's day.

A week ago we went up to Portland for our cousin in-law Kylie's baby shower. They are expecting a little girl in the beginning of August. Ella is excited about having a little playmate!

Shannone is also having a baby due in October. So many cousins!

Before the shower, Mikey took us to the downtown waterfront for the last day of the Rose Festival.

Dragon Boat Races

Ella slept the entire time down on the waterfront. Just too much excitement.

Thank you Mikey and Andrea for the wonderful hospitality!

Ella had her 4 month check up this week.
She is a healthy 12 pounds 14 oz and 24 inches tall. She had 3 shots and 1 oral vaccination.

This weekend, we went camping at Harbor Vista Campground in Florence for Father's Day.
We had the nicest weather, 70 degrees and sunny and .......no wind!
It was beautiful and we loved the new Motorhome!

Thanks for the cute hat Jenny!

Happy First Father's Day Daddy!  You're the Best in the World!

Ella's first time in a swing. She wasn't so sure about this at first but after awhile she Loved it!

The next day we took a hike down to the jetty and beach.

Major the Bulldog

Big Girl!

We're excited for the rest of summer- camping, swimming, Minnesota, weddings, playdates, bbqs and so much more!
