Christmas 2010

I have to admit that I did a horrible job taking pictures on Christmas. I'm very disappointed that I didn't document it better. It was a great day but I think we were a little exhausted from the night before. Ella was a little party animal on Christmas Eve staying up till 11:30.  Santa barely had time to visit before we got up to celebrate all over again.

On the 23rd we hung out at Uncle Jed's

Christmas Eve Ella opened up her first gift after church.
It was a big box!

What could it be?

A Big Girl High Chair!

She loves it! She loves anything that has to do with food!

 Christmas Morning
 She believes in Santa!

 Stockings

Uncle Kyle has her attention because he has a cell phone!
Love cell phones!

Grandpa Andy and Joyce. I had intentions to get her picture taken with all of her grandparents but this is all I got.
Bad Blogger Mommy!

Look at the cool gift the Aunt T and Uncle B got Ella!

Her first ornament from Grandma Cindy.
Check out the cute mini skirt and tights she got from her
cousin Henry. Adorable!

'Tis the Season...

I'm officially on Winter Vacation and couldn't be more excited! We have so many fun things planned for these next two weeks. Tomorrow we have a play date planned with our best friends! Hopefully, we will have some good news to share next week....
and  no, I'm not pregnant!
Here are some of my favorite pictures for the last week.
We left her alone for a minute...
and this happened. She loves her some Cherrios.

Love this one!

Her favorite toy...my cell phone.

Just texting Dakota!

On Friday, Mark stayed home to watch Ella. He and Ella came to school to visit me and my students.
 The kids loved her!

On Friday Night, my school had their Holiday Staff Party at Roaring Rapids Pizza. We took Ella on the giant carousel, the same one that I went on as kid.

She loved it!

Last night, we went to two Christmas parties. Unfortunately we left the camera at home for party #1, but came home to change into our holiday pajamas for party #2 and grabbed the camera.
Daddy Santa and his Little Reindeer Boo

At the party, Santa came to visit... Unlike her friend Dakota,
Ella was not a fan of Santa!

The Ladies loved Santa

and the boys do too!

Ella finally warmed up to Santa in the arms of her daddy!

Best Buds

Best Buds in a Box!

Okay, we've had enough!

Have a great Christmas Week. Hopefully the cards will be in the mail soon!

A 30th Surprise

Yesterday, one of my best friends, Kara turned the BIG 30!
She's the last of us girls to turn 30!

Her Husband Matt planned a little surprise party for the
birthday girl.
What a Guy!

While we were all together we had to take our traditional picture in front of the hearth.
This tradition dates back to high school,
maybe even middle school.

Here we are with our parents. We think that we're pretty special and lucky,
all of our parents are still married and live here in Eugene.

Here we are with our parents, husbands, and babies!

Hope you had a special 30th Kara! We love you!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I enjoy decorating for Thanksgiving way more then cooking for Thanksgiving. It works out great to host at our house, while others bring the delicious food.
We are so Thankful!

Man of the house doing his carving duty.

Ella loved all the new foods she tried- potatoes, stuffing and pie! OH MY!!

On Sunday morning, we got up to go Christmas Tree Hunting. We went out the Al's Tree farm in Veneta.
But first we had to stop for breakfast at Countryside.

Where's Ella Boo?

We found our tree!

She loved the wagon ride!

Megan and Jacob joined us on the wagon ride.

The Christmas tree group minus Grandma Cindy

The tree is all set up and ready for some lights and decorations. It only fell over once!

Decorated and only blew one fuse!
