Really, A Snow Day in November?

Yes, it's hard to believe it, but we had enough snow and ice to have a snow day before Thanksgiving. I love snow days, especially when it comes so unexpected. I was almost 100% certain that it wasn't going to happen. But to my surprise, we woke up to snow covered ground and No School! YAY for Snow Days!

We adventure out around 9:30 after we suited up. My friend Sara, said that Ella looked like the kid in the Christmas Story. She wasn't a huge fan of being all bundled up.

 My last blue hydrangea

We are were sure thankful for our Uggs that keep our toes warm.

Later in the day, we had a little photo shoot in her room. These are some of my favorites.

We ended the day with playtime with Daddy!

Fattening the Christmas Goose!

Ella had her nine-month well baby check-up this week. Mark and I both predicted before the appointment that she had gained about 2 lbs from her last check-up at six-month. Well... not quite...Little Ella Boo is little indeed, she only gained 6oz. Yes...she went from 35th percentile to the 5th percentile. So Dr. Bradshaw told us that we need to "Fatten our Christmas Goose". We have increased her meals and started adding healthy fats to her diet. Ella is loving all the extra food! We have a weight check appointment right after Christmas to see if she has put on her holiday weight :)

Height- 27 inches 40th%

Trying avocado for the first time!

On Tuesday, we had our friends over for dinner
and to do some crafting!

Ella's first craft project. This makes me happy... I (heart) crafting!

After crafting we had a Shirts Off Baby Party!

We ended the night with pants off too!
We were comparing bellies and rolls.
I'm sure they will love us for this in 15 years.

Ducks Drive South for Football

On Thursday Morning, we packed up the mini-van and headed down south with Grandpa and Grandma for a road trip to visit family and cheer on the Ducks in Berkeley. No, we didn't buy a family van. It's my parent's extra vehicle.

Our little traveler

Ella did a great job with the 8+ hour drive.

Mount Shasta

Our first stop was Sacramento to visit our newest cousin, Jersey Lou. She was only 2 1/2 weeks old and just perfect. It was great to see her mommy and daddy too.
Lindsey is from Alaska and proudly displays her bear skin rug. Ella wasn't so sure of it at first...Little Baby, Big Bear!
Hanging by their awesome pool. We were lovin' the warm California sunshine!

It was a bit too bright for Baby Boo!

Jersey's Big Brother, Titan!

The Proud Daddies and their little ladies at the bar!

On Friday afternoon, we headed over to Antioch to visit our Fahje Family. Little Jaeger was so excited to have Ella visit.

Saturday Morning, we got up and headed to Berkeley to cheer on our #1 Ducks!
Berkeley is just across the bay from San Fransisco. The Golden Gate Bridge is off in the distant.

Grandpa and Grandma

Catching some ZZZZs on the way to the game.

Navigating through Berkeley Game Day traffic!

We made it for some pre-game partying with Megan, Cooter, Josh and Uncle Jed.

Ella's first tattoo!

Tailgating at Cal means drinking a beer out of a paper bag while standing on a Frat house lawn. I think I saw more Oregon fans then Cal. The Duck fans made a good showing. Even Chad and Emily made it!

I was a nervous wreck for a lot of this game!

Crazy Game...Glad We Won!

I was 4 years old the first time I got my photo with the Duck, Ella was 9 months. She's one Lucky Duck!

The view from our hotel room on the Marina. In the distance, is the Gold Gate Bridge.

Photo Shop Bridge Pic

Our final stop on the trip was to In-N-Out, along with the 900 other Oregon Fans. This photo also shows Ella's new scrunched up face. She's a silly little duck!

Washington Game

Last weekend, Mark went crabbing with his cousins and I had a girls weekend with my favorite little baby. I was content watching the game at home until Grandpa John called to say he had free tickets for us and my mom. So, off we went to Auzten to watch the Ducks beat the Huskies!

A view from the tunnel

As you can see by this picture, Duck Fans can be any age!

WooHOo! The Ducks Scored!

With all that excitement, Ella took two naps. I just love that sweet little face.

She was in the best mood all day! She Loves Her DUCKS!
