First Week of Summer- California

Elle and I headed south to California for our first week of
summer vacation

We traveled with Mark's cousin's wife Andrea and
their 3 month old Tucker to Roseville,
which is outside of Sacramento
to visit Mark's cousin Traci, her family and this beautiful pool.

Cousin Photo shoot

Also, we got to visit my cousins that lives in Roseville too.
Sweet 8 month old Jersey

We spent most of our week relaxing by the pool. Ella loved playing
with her bucket of water. In fact, we came home and
did the same thing on our back deck today.
Hello Summer!

On the way home this little busy bee had her own seat
on the plane, not that she really sat in it, ha!

Thank you Traci and family for a great mini vacation, we had a fabulous time!

Good Bye Best Friend!

My best friend moved today to Baker City, Oregon
to be closer to her boyfriend Aaron and start her new job.
I'm excited for her and her huge change
but we will miss her a lot!

On Friday, we had a little going away party for her

Ella got to play with her best friends
Dakota

and Lucas

Good Bye Auntie Sara!

Here are my favorite ladies!

Here are just a few other pics from our weekend...
Ella got her first Owie! Poor Boo!

I made this little silhouette for Ella's room

On Sunday, we celebrated Father's day and
Megan's birthday

Happy Father's Day!

All the Anderson boys with Grandpa Andy and Elle

Kyle's hair is so out of control that he had to borrow
Ella's headband. It's a good look for him.

We have a very busy first week of summer, Mark and his family are putting on a new roof and Ella and I are going to play in the sun in California!

First Camping Trip of the year!

Last week, we packed up the motor-home and headed up to Fall Creek. Our friends, the Wescott's rented a group site, which ended up being a whole campground to ourselves.

The sun decided to make an appearance, so Ella got stripped
down and sunscreened up.

I'm loving that she finally fits into her high-top converses

 Don't leave a 16 month old alone with a box of cheez-its

Going to watch Dad take a dip in the lake...
It was a little too cold for Mommy and Boo!

So we had a photo-shoot instead. Poor girl got my allergies!
I'm soo bummed about it! Hopefully she'll outgrow them.

She loved picking up sticks and playing in the gravel.

Here is her new cheeseball smile! What a ham!

Our friend John and his wife Fifi, visiting from Taiwan stayed with us in the motorhome.

They have a sweet little girl Siena, who is 1 year and 1 day younger then Ella.

We went for a morning walk

This was the view from our campground

Ella and Siena were bumbo twins. She kept on patting her and saying baby.

Look how much she has grown in the last year!
Now that I'm on summer vacation,
I'm even more excited about camping this summer!

My favorite 5

It's 11:30 pm and I should be sleeping...
tomorrow is the last day of school.
I guess I'm just to excited to sleep,
I'm so looking forward to the next 2 months!

I have taken about 300 pictures in the last two weeks.
I'm saving some of the pics for a few catch-up posts when I
actually have a little extra time on my hands.
Hello Summer!!!

Here are 5 of my favorites.

Memorial Weekend

We spent Memorial Weekend on a little road trip to the coast with Mark's best friend Chad, his fiance Emily, and Dad Arden. Ella spent the night with my parents This was the longest we have both been away from her. We missed her like crazy, but she had a great time with grandma and grandpa!

This is the first trip the motorhome has taken since we got towed home from Sweethome. She drove like a champ.
I (heart) the motorhome. It's a party on wheels!

First stop was the cheese factory in Tillamook.

The farmer and the cow....
......hi, ho the dairy-o, the farmer and cow!

They seemed super excited to watch the factory
on a holiday break. (Nothing was moving)

Got Milk!
This was Emily's first taste of squeeky cheese! She loved it!

Next stop- free parking at the Casino in Lincoln City.
This is the only picture I took while we were at the casino.
Mark Arden was the lucky winner!

We stopped off on the way home at this scenic viewpoint.

Thanks for a fun trip Oylers! Can't wait for more
fun times in California!

Two more weeks of school then I get to spend a lot
more time with this little bubbly baby! YAY!
