Our Litte Campin' Girl!

This was our first of many camping trips of the summer. Ella seemed to absolutely love Camping!! We headed down to Cottage Grove lake to camp with the Eichner and the Walz Families. The weather was wonderful on Saturday, even managed to get some sun. Since my parents were not back with the motorhome, we tent camped. That night, I froze and Ella slept and slept and slept...not a peep the entire night. We must of really wore her out. We headed home on Sunday night to beat the rain, thank goodness because it really poured!

Love the background on this photo

Ella's First Concert

Watch Ella's first concert. She sings and plays the piano.
This is my first attempt to link a movie. It's pretty long, so unless your her grandparent you might find it cute for the first 30 seconds or so, then it gets a little long. This is really for my mom who has been on vacation for the last week. I'm sure she misses her little Ella!

Happy Belated Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Mark's birthday last Friday with his family and some friends. He shares his birthday with his brother Kyle. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the Daddy and Ella.

         Happy Birthday Buddy!

Thanks for being such a Wonderful Husband and Father!

XOXO- Ella and Mommy

Mommy's 30!

Yes, it happened... I turned 30 on Monday!
I'm neither sad or happy about the whole thing. It is what it is! I had a nice celebration at El Torito's.
Mark is loving calling me "Old Lady" but I have to note that he is the one that has silver coming in on the side of his hair. His birthday is tomorrow and hopefully we will celebrate by getting a hot tub. I'm super excited about that! We'll invite you over for a soak once we get it all set up.

Last week we took some "four Generation" pictures while Mark's Grandma and Aunt were visiting from New Jersey.

Here are some of my favorite pics from the last week.

Happy Birthday Aunt Tamisha!

Ella just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her Aunt Tamisha!!
                                                                    Enjoy your Day!! XOXO

I (heart) Mother's Day

I have a new favorite holiday... Mother's Day. We didn't do a whole lot, but it just feels great to be celebrated for something I totally love... being a mom!

Mark's Grandmother and Aunt came from New Jersey to meet our Ella. She is Ella's only living great-grandparent. We met for Pizza on Saturday night.

On Sunday, we met for Mother's Day Brunch. Thanks Uncle Epo!

Ella was helping me pick out her socks.

So, I went back to work this week half-time. I was really dreading leaving Ella and it's always hard to come back into your classroom after being gone. I'm a little surprised on the way I'm feeling, but I'm really loving teaching in the morning and having my afternoon off to be with Ella. It's kind of the best of both worlds. I wish I could have the same schedule next year but it looks like I'll be back to full time. This is what Ella looked like when I picked her up from her Grandma Cindy's today! Love that Smile!!!

Seattle and Derby Party

Ella took her first road trip to Seattle. Mark had some business and we wanted to tag along. We found this cool park right on the sound and did some hiking and beach walking. We hope Ella will be an outdoor girl like her parents. On the way home we surprised her Uncle Ben and Aunt Tamisha with a visit. It was a great day!

Just playing around with the camera. We LOVE our Nikon D3000!

This was the park area we found. If your ever in Seattle you should check it out.
