Dangerous Driving Conditions

Yeah for Snow Days! We had our second snow day of the school year. It wasn't much of a snow day, but we'll take it because that means mommy gets to stay home with Ella. We spent the day watching random snow showers intermixed with sun breaks. The real snow came that night but we didn't get another snow day. Oh well, it made for an interesting, but fun day at school.

I thought spring was on it's way...not so much.

That same day Ella got a swing from Grandpa Andy and Joyce for her birthday. She loves her swing so much her tongue went crazy.

Last weekend, we went to Portland for Andrea's baby shower and we spent the night at Grant and Kylie's house. The girl cousins had their first slumber party.

This morning, Mark went into work for a while and I went into the downstairs bathroom to clean it and did this instead. I guess I wanted to start another project:) 

I just hated that border. Now it's time to pick out paint color.

12 Month Check-Up

On Monday, Valentine's Day we took our little love bug to the doctor for her 12 month check up.
Our doctor said she was perfect. She gained over 2.5 lbs since her last check-up. Way to Go Boo!

weight 18 lbs 5 oz- 10th percentile

height 28 inches- 23rd percentile

head- 18 in - 83th percentile

After her birthday festivities, we headed to the another nearby park. She's such a happy baby!

Ella's Birthday Bash

Yesterday, we celebrated Ella Kate's first birthday with her family and friends. It was a party filled with pink and brown, cupcakes and balloons. It was a great celebration. Thank you to everyone who shared this special day with us!
