Boo at the Pumpkin Patch

Mother nature has not been our friend these last couple of days. First came the rain and wind, then came the cold temps. We decided to brave the cold last night to take Ella Boo to the pumpkin patch for her very important first pumpkin.

Fall

We've been wanting to take Ella out to the pumpkin patch to take some pictures to post for her 8 month pic and the plan was to go today after I got home from school because the weather forecast for the next week is rain and... more rain. I already spent the afternoon at the farm with my first graders, but was excited to get some cute pictures and some pumpkins for the front walkway. Well, we never made it...a little afternoon snooze won out today. Maybe there will be a break in the rain this weekend.

Ever since Ella got this crawling thing down, I can't seem to get a good picture of her just playing or sitting,

Photoshop Fun!

Today is my first of several furlough days for the school year. It's sad that we have come to this, but I can say that I'm loving my mommy day, even though it's full of snotty noses

and sore throats. Both of us have a cold.

Mark, Ella and I went on a dinner date picnic on the rivertrail last night. I've been having some fun playing around with photoshop on some of the pictures we took last night.
