Naked Baby

Nothing's better then a naked baby... well I should say a naked baby with a diaper on. In some of the pictures she is working on doing knuckles. We love our wide-eyed naked baby!

6 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe that our baby is already 6 weeks old. Time goes by way too fast. Half of my maternity leave is already over. I'm a bit sad about that!

Ella has started to be more aware of the world around her. She is really good at gripping on to her daddy's fingers. Our little sleeper slept from 10:30 pm to 7:00am last night. How lucky are we! We must of really wore her out yesterday watching basketball at Uncle Jed' s house.

On Ella's 5 week birthday she melt our hearts with her adorable smile. Now we are completely making a fool out ourselves trying to get her to smile.

We had some special visitors come from Minnesota and California this last week.

One Month Old

The littlest Duck Fan!

Ella really has no choice but to become a Duck Fan. Last Tuesday we took Ella to the opening day game at PK Park. The new ball park is really nice. We got tickets through Mark's work because they did all the landscaping. Ella slept the entire time.

Ella is ready for her 1st game in her warm little bear suit! So cute!

On Thursday we took Ella to Mac Court for one of the final basketball games. They didn't play too good and lost to Washington. And again... Ella slept the entire time. I'm not sure how she could sleep through all that noise. We got some cute pictures before we left.

Our Big Weekend

We had a Busy Weekend around here! We had special visitors from out of town and a fabulous baby shower for Ella's Best Friend and her Mommy Maria!

Mark's cousin Mikey and his wife Andrea came down from Portland to meet Ella. We can't wait for her to meet the rest of the Portland family. Thanks for making the trip down!





We also had Mark's Best Friend Chad come up from California to meet Ella. Somehow he escaped without getting his picture taken with Ella. Sorry Chad, we'll make sure to get a picture next time. Thanks for making the trip up, come back soon!

Ella Loves Daddy

It was great having Mark home for Ella's first week. He has now been back to work for a week and we miss him around here. I can tell he misses us too!


We went to the doctor for a weight check and Mark picked up Ella to comfort her. She didn't like being naked on the scale.


Well, apparently she felt safe in her daddy's arms because she peed all over his shirt. We knew we had to pack extra clothes for Ella but not for ourselves.
